We have been so blessed to have Gerald in our family.  The love that he gave our sister Hazel and all of our family will stay with us forever.  The time that we spent together in Missouri, Georgia and Florida was so enjoyable.  We will miss you Gerald.  Be at rest and thank you for all the games of Hand and Foot

Uncle Gerald and his wife (my sweet aunt Reatha) took care of my dad (Reatha's brother, John Parrish) like a baby while he was struggling with cancer, and I will never be able to express my thanks for that selfless act.  Dad told me before he died that he loved Gerald like a brother.  I am praying for Gerald's family today.
