Mr. Stoeppel has always been one of my favorite people in the world. His passion for learning and life, his intelligence, his thoughtfulness, and his sense of humor will be missed. And I know my father will miss one of his oldest friends very, very much.

Mr. Stoeppel was one of the kindest, most generous persons I've ever known. I will always remember his smile, his enthusiasm, and his support of me and all of those who he coached in soccer. He was a close friend of our family and to me, he was like a kindly uncle: clever, funny, gentle and thoughtful. I will never forget how much enriched my life and my family's. He will be greatly missed
