Oh, my sweet guy. I hope I was a decent wife, but I surely was not enough. You were the most honorable, good, kind, self-effacing, patient man. All you ever wanted you said was a family. I will keep the family strong and take care of crazy Sadie. I'll do all you would have wanted. Thank you for putting up with me. It was "A Wonderful Life." See you in Heaven someday. Your Lucy & Vinnie
With much sympathy from our family to George's family. Many tears have been shed for Jennette, Chase & Clara. George was a lovely man who was a great husband & loving father. With love from the family of Jennette's Aunt Virginia Jobes Lisbon's family. Bonnie
My deepest condolences to George's family. George was and always will be remembered as a terrific man who will be greatly missed. His shoes will be hard to fill.

My heart broke learning of George's passing this morning. I am so sad. George has been a client of mine forever and I will miss him. He spoke often of his family and I could tell immediately how proud he was. This is a huge loss for all. I am praying for his family and friends with hopes they can find comfort in the wonderful memories they will always have to treasure. Godspeed George
How very, very sad to learn of this. George and I were roommates and close comrades during our MSU years in the 70s. Together we hoisted many a brew and wreaked havoc wherever we went. We camped across the country and in 1972 I may have saved him from drowning in the Black Hills. He loved Vonnegut and the poet, Robert Burns. I admired and loved him. My deepest sympathies to his family.
The world has lost another kind soul! I first met George when he as rooming with Tom Luczak while they were attending Wayne State law school. Detroit was a scary city back then and I will always remember our code "webe chaka congo mobutu"... What a great sense of humor and dry wit he had! My deepest condolences to Jennette, Chase and Clara.
