George was a caring and wonderful human being.  I was very moved by his ability to find a meaningful and positive way to accept his sons accidental passing  by an intoxicated driver and to channel his energies along with his beloved wife’s  into the education of our youth about the dangers of driving under the influence. May God welcome him and reunite him with his son and wife.

I served on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee with George and Virginia and they were the nicest couple.  After Virginia's passing, I stayed in touch with George and we had him over for dinner one night.  He regaled us with great stories and a very organized portfolio of pictures and memories.  He was a kind, gentle man who never complained and was always interested in others.
