My dear friend and former faculty colleague George Coakley was honored by SJSU in 2013 for his many years of exceptional teaching and mentoring in our advertising program. As journalism school director. I greatly enjoyed and appreciated his kindness, good counsel, friendship and countless helpful ideas. My loving condolences to his wonderful family. I will miss him and his great heart.
