I had the pleasure of working with George at VMFA, where he was adored by everyone who knew him. He always had a twinkle in his eye, a huge laugh, and endless wonderful stories about his life and the people he knew (quite literally, almost everyone in Richmond!). I am so glad to have known him, and send condolences and kind thoughts to his family. Rest in peace, George.
Mrs. B, Betsy, Molly, George and Bryson Clan,
You so generously shared so much of this beloved man with me. What a remarkable life, so well lived. You all filled his world entirely with joy and love and laughter.
So many happy memories - Uncle George you always made me laugh and feel loved - I will miss you dearly.
