It is with profound sadness that I find myself writing a tribute to Tony on a page such as this. Tony's passing confirms my belief that God takes the good ones first.  I will forever remember that "Voice of CNN" and how he brightened a room with his infectious smile.  Tony, you and your family are in my prayers....Sharon

Tony was one of the finest people I have ever worked with. He will forever be remembered for his passion to coach, teach, and mentor. There are countless people who have said "If I could only learn and practice just 50% of what Tony knows, then I will be a great success." When facing challenges & opportunities, we have asked ourselves (and will continue to) "What would Tony do?"

Pure sage, pure kindness, pure gold. These are only a few of the words that describe Tony. The sound of his laughter would make you laugh, his smile would light up any room. He was a  kind and humble man, never an unkind word spoken. His life ended too soon, but he is in hunting heaven right now! We all know and love him for his passion for the wilderness. Gods speed Tony. Much love.

You have left this earth far to early my friend.  Your family and friends, both personal and work related will have lost an awesome human being.  Working with you before I retired from Raymond Co. was an honor and privilege.  While I did not know you as a close friend, I knew you as a compassionate, caring man, being tough when needed, especially when working.  Rest in peace my friend.

Auntie Val, Liz, Brian and Danny, I am so sorry for our loss. Uncle Tony was a one of a kind man. He cared so much for you and this extended to all family. So many good memories through the years. Every time I saw Swinerton I knew that Uncle Tony shared his unparalleled multi-talents with the city. May you be comforted as we mourn this loss and celebrate his life.

I was honored to have Tony as my son in law for the past 34 years.A true gentleman, quiet, unassuming and humble although he achieved much and had so much to be proud of. He was not outwardly religious, yet his life and character personified the traits of a Godly man. You will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.May the Father welcome you and reward you greatly.RIP Tony.

I was very fortunate to work with Tony at the Gap Headquarters, my first job in the US. He taught me all the very important technical aspects of the trade, which he mastered like no one. However, above all, Tony engraved in me by example the value of hard work, honesty, perseverance, pursue of excellence, and of always being straight and fair. Thank you Tony, I will never forget you.

Although I only knew Tony for a few years, I felt an immediate kinship with him. He is one of "the good guys" in my book. One of perhaps a dozen or so people in the construction business that I've had contact with in the 36 years I've spent travelling across this country that I would work with on any project anywhere. A consummate professional.

I was very saddened to hear of Tony's passing. I knew him as a very young man. From the comments it seems he held to his true self his entire life: always quick to smile, easy to talk to, & very genuine. Liz, I know he loved you deeply and I am glad you two found each other, although quite sad your time together was so short. May your close friends, family and passing time bring you peace.
