My late wife Kitten and I loved so much our uncle Gene and aunt Carol, they were so good to us and we spent whatever time we could with them and Mark and Barry. Gene and I communicated often after our wives had passed and reflected on the good times we and families spent together. We were close and always enjoyed talking, he spoke often and bragged on the boys and Kitten. Loved him.
I very much admire and respect Gene Taylor. I sat at the same table with him and Carol for 2 or 3 years at the Live Oak Senior Center. His caring and attentiveness to Carol was admired by many others too. Gene was a good man. I shall miss him. R.I.P Gene.
I first met Gene while volunteering at the Live Oak Senior Center. He was the first person to respond and help a gentlemen who was having a heart attack. It impressed me how he was always willing to help. It was an honor to get to spend time with him and Carol. He had an awesome sense of humor and kind heart. I enjoyed the stories he shared. I will miss him.
