Loss of a loved one is hard,  and the bible can comfort us so much through this hard time. We have the promise of the resurrection found at John 5::28,29 . We also have the promise of the earth filled with righteous people living forever in peace. ( Psalms 37:10,11,29). Hope these scriptures will comfort you.
