My brother just gave me the news. We grew up together in Hyde Park, close birthdays, little league teams, schools, Boston Tech, our moms and brothers were close friends. The obituary was spot on for the Gary I knew growing up. Bright and eager mind, loved history and politics. I was not surprised by his success. I wish our lives would have crossed again! I am sorry for your loss.  Gary was a great friend to have both personally and professional.  He was second to none when it came to running the first session of the Suffolk County Criminal Court Session. He was a person that always remembered his friends and where he came from.

Dear Brian and the Wilson Family - So sorry for your loss. Gary was a dear colleague, mentor and friend during my time working alongside him at Suffolk Sup. Crim. Court. Learned a lot from Gary, especially as to the role of Magistrate. Even after his retirement, Gary continued to provide wise counsel to his friends whenever called upon. Gary was one of a kind. He will be sorely missed.
