I met Garth at the University of Michigan when I was an undergraduate student in the late 70's and continued to be friends as I was later fortunate to join him at the University of Michigan Medical School. He was known around campus for his great basketball game and being an all around good guy. I can speak for many when I say he touched our lives in a positive way and will be missed.
