So sorry to learn of Fred's passing. What started out as a business relationship turned into a true, lasting friendship. Fred was instrumental in bolstering my early career and opened many doors for me in West Falmouth. As the years went on, we spent many hours in conversation at 85 Little Neck Bars Road. I first met Fred as an undergrad and squash member at Amherst (Class of '76). We continued to see each other in Boston, on the Cape and elsewhere. He was a wonderful, generous person. One funny story--he and I were talking at an Amherst-Williams game. When Fred went off, my son (Class of '11) came up and said "Jesus, that guy must have been a real party-er!!", not realizing Fred was '50..!
