Bev and family, sending my heartfelt condolences, so sorry to hear about Fred.

New to Alaska in 1975, we entered a three dog race at Tozier Track with our malemutes. There we met Fred for the first time.  Taking us under his wing, he became our mushing mentor and close friend, Fred made it possible for us to become winning racers.  He also shared his knowledge of Alaska and his heritage with us  Fred, you changed our lives forever.
