I was one of Frank's first students at DeAnza in 1969. His mentoring, humor, knowledge and humanity was always a guiding light for me. I don't think I would have become a psychologist if not for Frank. I know he touched and influenced so many lives in the very finest tradition of teaching. Thank you Frank.
I was a student of Frank's in 1974-75. He was building the experimental lab at the time, and his enthusiasm and delight for the process infected me so deeply that I switched my focus from a vague "majoring in the GI Bill" to psychology. This led me to a lifetime of working in acute psychiatric nursing. I will be forever grateful for his example and his passion
