The members of IATSE Local 134 are very saddened to hear of Nicks death. He was our most senior member.

My most vivid memory of Nick was when he was standing backstage at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts joking with Mickey Rooney while Rooney was changing his pants.

When I interviewed for a job with CSJ Rec. Dept. in 1964, Nick was at his desk.  He heard me speak with a Southern accent, and as I was leaving he loudly said "good luck Tex" and that is the only name he ever called me!  I will certainly miss hearing that familiar name as he was the only person to ever call me that.  RIP dear Nick -- the memories in my heart are many and wonderful!!
