Candle lit  by Judy Arenstein on January 4th, 2018

I was so sorry to hear about Bud. He hired me in the late 60’s as a Probation Officer for Henrico on East Main St.. He was the kindest, wisest boss anyone could have. I learned so much from him. In those days you could just walk in and if there was an opening and you qualified you were hired on the spot. My sympathy and prayers go out to your family. Judy Arenstein

What a sterling example Bud set for all of us to follow.  He was so selfless and gave so much to so many, especially young baseball players.  The Dement family will always hold him in a special place in our hearts.   Nancy Dement

So sorry to hear of Bud's passing.  I was his administrative assistant/private secretary for over 20 yrs. at Rich. Ct.  He was a wonderful boss and a real gentleman.

My name is Erick Oliver and Bud was one of my first coaches I had with Tuckahoe little league. He was a great coach and gave all he could to help us get better playing ball and teaching us right from wrong. A great man and a great mentor
Rest in peace coach!
