My grandmother brought so much joy to me. I will miss my summers of biking across town during my early teens to visit. And of course I will NEVER FORGET her surprise party at "Rocket Park" (not sure of the actual name of the park).  It was an epic calamity that became a running joke within the family. I will forever love and cherish memories such as these. You will be missed Grandma.

Sending love and condolences to all Maesie’s family.  Maesie was a joy in my life, and I know in thousands of others’ lives. What a blessing to be her friend! She was truly a rare special soul. What a tremendous positive impact she made while here!

Sometimes you're fortunate enough to meet someone who profoundly changes your life. Auntie Mae was such a person. I find comfort in thinking of the reunions they are having in heaven.

I was sorry to read of Mrs. Ferrari's passing. I remember her with fondness. In 1971 she allowed me to stay with her family for a visit after my high school graduation in Lancaster, CA. I was likely a brat, but she provided a steady influence. My sympathies to all the family.
