This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Fr. Russell Best, Jr. We will remember him forever.
It is sad to hear of Russell's passing...what a shock! It is a great picture of him and his signature smile. It is a loss to the church of Boston. May he rest in the love and peace of the Lord he served so faithfully.
Fr. Russell too over St. John/St. Hugh when Fr Daly left. I had installed a new sound system for Fr. Daly sometime before. He kept me as the sound installer and we got along well. He was one of the "BEST" priests I ever knew. The last time I saw him was the night before Thanksgiving when we brought over a truckload of food from The Cooperators at Don Bosco Tech for 20 families.
