Lalo was a beloved colleague and dear friend. Generous to a fault. I will miss him terribly. We left us way too soon.
Lalo was the epitome of "a man for others". He was a loving husband, father, grandson, son, brother and uncle, and an amazing friend, mentor and leader. He was admired and will be missed by many but we were fortunate to know him. He was blessed with a huge heart, beautiful smile, integrity, and bountiful dark hair. With all our love and prayers.
Simply said Lalo was a wonderful person. I will remember him forever as my accomplished boss, a devoted public servant, a conscientious husband and father, a bon-vivant, and a compassionate man. May the gods welcome him with open arms and warm hugs.
I have worked in Lalo's department for the last 15 years and every encounter I have had with him was always positive. He always took the time to see how we his employees were doing. He would take the time to teach you if didn't understand. He will be greatly missed. All around great person. Thoughts and prayer for all his family
Lalito...a one of a kind man. I'm numb, lost for words...he left us beautiful memories to never be forgotten. Prayers for our family!
We will miss Lalo so very much. He left this world a better place because he touched so many people with his kindness and generosity. We will never forget him. Aloha and Mahalo my friend.

Lalo was a good person who always saw the good in others. He introduced me to my future wife while we both worked at the City of Palo Alto. He was riding with her in the elevator and they were talking about playing golf. He asked if I could Join. I did and bet her I could beat her. She won! So did I! Lalo know it all along!! We will never forget him!!! Mike & Allison Jaeger
