Evelyn Torres (Vandervort as I knew her), was a lovely generous woman who gave me refuge as a young teen.  I was friends with her daughter Lori - who I’ll never forget.  During that time, I was safe and continued my education and enjoyed being part of their family.  Evelyn was also responsible for helping me into my final situation as a young teen for which I’ll be eternally grateful.

I only wish I could thank her personally and let her know how much her daughter loved both Evelyn and Dale.  Always grateful to your family for everything!!
