I have never forgotten Evelyn’s many kindnesses to me and my colleagues when I worked at the East Boston Community News. She welcomed us into her home for Sunday dinner and treated us like family. My sincere condolences to all of the many people who loved her.  

Evelyn was a staunch friend to East Boston, to the Community News and to me. I will miss her & the other amazing women we’ve lost - the real greatest generation.

I do not have the words or eloquence to express my thoughts and feelings about Evelyn Morash and the deep impact she has had on my life and countless others. The world is a better place because she lived in it and I am a better person because I knew her. Rest in peace Evelyn. I take comfort in thinking that you are with your beloved daughters.
