Worked with Gene for several years in the 1960's, when Media General was still RNI. A welcoming colleague who was open and friendly, and who gave wise advice to this beginner, always with a smile and a laugh. RIP, Gene. We will pray that the really good memories will carry his family through this unhappy period. L

Gene and I were childhood neighbors and I loved him and his family.  My thoughts and prayers are certainly with them.
