Esther and I were classmates in the elder collegium in the fall of 2008. She was a remarkable person. I enjoyed knowing her in the class.

Aunt Essie introduced me to Cape Cod and the history of early America. Those two summers with my cousins, Tom, Ann, Zoe and David etched fond memories that will always be with me. She was the historian of the family and through her, I know the heritage of my grandparents. I know that fond memories will support the entire family during this difficult time.
