Ernie was a very loving brother. I will miss his crazy jokes, sweetness and his helpfulness. It's hard for me to believe he is gone -- he was such a survivor! He was the cutest and sweetest kid. I am glad he is no longer having to deal with cancer and that he is with his little black cat Blackie. Ernie was surrounded by the love of his friends when he passed. I am grateful to everyone.
I loved Jimmy from the moment I met him. He looked like Ana, only taller, and he was slightly funnier with an endearing grumpy veneer. His intelligence, his beautiful baritone voice and his appreciation for good, fresh food are what I will always remember about my dear other brother. With love, Cheryl.
Papa-Lolo is what we called him at work, he was always cracking jokes and making us laugh! Don’t let his looks fool you, he may have looked grumpy but he was the most sweetest person. He fought hard so hard! I miss you Papa-Lolo! Thank you for the many years of laughter and kindness! Rest In Peace papa-Lolo, you can rest now.
Ernie, was an asset to our facility. Whenever something went wrong in the kitchen he was there to make it work. I’ll miss our chats when he’d bring me receipts for reimbursement. He may have been known as grumpy, but he’d be there for you in an instant. He had the best dry sense of humor.. I still can’t believe he’s gone... I pray that his soul is resting in peace now.
Ernie was a great guy. He was my right hand at work years ago. I was proud to call him a friend and sorry we hasn’t spoken in 10 months and now it’s too late. Rest In Peace buddy.
