The world lost a very special man. There are so many memories of our two families spending time together. The laughter, oh the laughter that we shared. Eric was a good man who loved his family and friends with his whole heart. So thankful to have shared all that time in Alaska. Goodbye sweet friend you will be missed.
I am sorry to hear of Eric's passing. Eric's father, Eino, and my dad, Charlie, were recent UA graduate engineers called up by the Army to build Elmendorf Field for WWII. They were roommates and Eino was Dad's best man when my folks married in 1942. I delivered newspapers to Reinikka's in the 1950's. Eric was a fun kid and a good man. Please accept my condolences.
