35 years ago as a 20 year old new respiratory therapist I was providing critical care to a 19 year old.  Her parents sat at her bedside as we withdrew life support.  I asked how are you getting through this?  The mother said, "God gives us children for a time and reason, when the time is up and the reason is met, He takes them home!" Wonderful pictures Kim your son is very handsome and a beautiful soul.  Thinking about you and your family.  After my mom died I would tell people don't do to much good to fast or you get to go the heaven early.  Pretty sure I will live to be 150 or so.Sending many prayers your way.

I met Eric roughly 5 years ago, and we were fast friends since then. I've accepted your death, but it doesn't make it any easier. Hasn't been a single day that I haven't thought about you. But I'll see you on the other side, I reckon. You were only here for 19 years, but it was worth a lifetime of memories. Rest in peace, brother.

Eric was a dear, sweet and kind friend to Austin (my Stepson) when he first moved to Herndon from Orlando, Florida. We LOVED having Eric over and I will always remember his lovely smile and good natured personality. To Chris, Kim and your family - there are no words of comfort. Just know that you raised an amazing young man and I'm grateful I had the pleasure of knowing him.

I am glad that I got to know Eric and see him grow through his last 2 years of high school. He had a good heart, and cared for the people around him.

I remember having deep talks with Eric about Jesus and his faith was strong. I wouldn't have passed the HVAC class at the tech center if Eric wasn't there. He would help me understand concepts that were going over my head at the time. Everyone in the class respected him alot. He introduced me to the band Ween. He was a genuine soul. We will see you one day bro. Much love.

I never met Eric in person, but I had amazing memories and great times in my formative years playing online Xbox 360 w/ my best friend Austin who one day invited him to our game and us three spent countless hours playing together. Very cool friend, and was thinking about him today almost 10 years later. See you in the Kingdom brother !
