My Uncle Dique became a model of how a father, a brother and an uncle should be. He was a great father to my cousins. A good brother to my nanay Celing and a great uncle who really took care of us, his nephews during our growing years. He was there when went to college, and was always just an email away when I needed advise in business and in life. We love you and will miss you greatly.
Kuya Ike/Iking,
Is always a good brother in law to me, we used to communet at 4:00am to U.P, Los Banos,to work at Bureau of Forestry,He is the Managing Director of Forest Product Research and Development, while me an Illustrator for the Tech.Journal, each he is always giving me advises and reminders. Me&my family will always remember you
Kuya Ike, I remember him when he lend his brand new car, a Ford Guia on my wedding day way back in June 20, 1978. He even advised our company driver to be careful with the car. By the way Pepe the driver was kaskasero. Kuya Ike even brought the car to Gloria's place before he went to office. You are with the Lord now, we will always remember you, me and my family.
Dear Tay,
My first memory of you was in my college days. I would see you walk pass our house on your daily commute to Los Banos. I admire your dedication, unconditional love and unwavering patience to family.
I knew from your stories that you were once a "Tondo Boy", I guess that
"Tondo" toughness was left in Tondo because you showed nothing to us but
humility and gentleness.
On behalf of my girls, Michelle, Moreen, and Marian, we will always love you. Your
loving memory will
linger on.
Note: I am sharing a video tribute I made in 2015 when he turned 90.

Kuya Ike, I remember when he introduced me to Engr. Lauricio to work in FPRDI College Los Baños as a draftsman, through his help i was never in vacant, from being a draftsman i became a science specialist for the past 23 years. Through his help i was able to be the person i am today. Thankyou, and you will always be in our hearts.

In the early 80s i told kuya ike that i had to forego a big job opportunity in leyte cause nanay wld not let me go. He adviced me to reconsider my decision & he talked to nanay even to a point of telling her that they will be visiting me every 2 wks; we all know that this is very expensive. I however no longer reconsidered it cause ofnanay's health condition.Thank you kuya for everthing!
