"E.B.", you will surely be missed by so many. You were a true friend to the end. You were a wonderful example of one who puts God first in everything you ever did; you loved God, country, and family. RIP, my friend!
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Timothy 4:7 New International Version
My sincere condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in the promise of God found at John 5:28,29 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
Rest easy E.B. you have now received your just reward, and I know that you were welcomed with open arms. Thank you for being such a good friend to my Grandmother Hazel Robertson. She thought the world of you. I remember eating your vegetables from the time I could barely walk. Thank you for helping me to get my job with the city. May you dwell in the house of the Lord forever. R.I.P.
I will never forget E. B. Davis. When I was a brand new sergeant, he took me under his (rather substantial) wings and taught me how to "do it right." I will be forever grateful for his guidance...and patience. I know E. B. will be missed by all. He was unfailingly cheerful and larger than life. I am sure he has the angels in heaven laughing.
E.B. & Betty Davis where the best neighbors a kid wit a bicycle could have had.
From the time the footings were being dug til all finished, we swarmed like bees around
E.B. & Betty's home. Took us to eat & to Amelia The Best People.

I met E B Davis from working at Penny's Home Ctr. And then at our furniture store, StJohn Furniture. He was a loyal customer who patronized our small business and looked out for us. He was a great story teller and would tell us stories of his life, which were thoroughly enjoyed by his listeners. Rest High on that Mountain.
