Elsie Mayeda Honda, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully in San Jose, CA, on August 22, 2021, at the age of 96. Her loved ones have innumerable wonderful memories of time spent with her. Her kind, caring and giving nature, tendency to see the best in people as well as a lively sense of humor were cherished and will be greatly missed by all. We will remember her forever.
Innumerable wonderful memories of my Grandma Honda, she was such a special woman. Spending partial summers in San Jose was a highlight of my childhood years. I feel so fortunate to have had her love, support, advice and care for so many years - traits she passed onto her daughter, my mother.
Grew up near blackford hi; went 6th grade at Lynnhaven w/ Ron. Later in life, my wife’s uncle Kiyo worked at Honda Garage. The Honda’s just an outstanding family that i am glad to have some connection. Aloha, and Prayers. Mitch.
