I am so sorry to have just learned of Ellens passing last year. I worked with her at the State House from 1980 until 1994, i was the lucky and grateful recopient of her spectacular baking skills, her lemon cake being a favorite—along with chocolate chip cookies amd some amazing homemade soups. She knitted welcome outfits for each of my 4 daughters when they were born, and later, sweaters,

, mittens and hats. I will always remember her unique and special personality and how she made me feel welcome during my first days at the State House. I read of her death as i was trying to reestablish communication with her. She was a kind and good person. Ill remember her spirit always

Sorry to be late and mostly sorry to hear that Ellen passed away in 2021.  I had tried to reach out to her last year, probably around that time and didn't hear from back.  I knew Ellen from kindergarten through high school, and she was a kind and thoughtful lady.  I do have lots of remembrances of Ellen that I will share on the stories page.  God bless you, Ellen.  You touched us all.
