Met Ella Sanders and her husband, Richard, when I was the principal of Elmont Elem. School. Beautiful couple. Both were responsible of getting The Buffalo Soldiers to come to Elmont School and provide an assembly for our K through 5th graders. Will be missed by all who were blessed to know them.
