Elizabeth Smith, my cousin, was always such a light in the lives of those who knew her.  I haven't had occasion to keep in touch in recent years but I have wonderful memories of her kindness, humor, and, frankly, great cooking.  Speaking for myself and for another cousin, James Davis, of Old Church, I offer sincere condolences to the family for their loss.        Gary Young, Arlington, VA
