I knew Betty for 10 years or so, and her energy was amazing. I had the good fortune to escort her to various functions in northern California in 2014, and everywhere she went she was greeted so warmly. Everyone wanted to be close to her, hear her stories, and bask in the glow of that wonderful smile and laugh, which will never go away.
