This memorial website was created by Sal's children, in the memory of our beloved father, Eliseo "Sal" Blasquez, 91, born on October 25, 1923 and passed away on October 1, 2015. We will remember him forever.
An incredibly generous soul, a warm heart, a kind heart, and a heart often deep behind a Kevlar fabric whose troubles were shared with few. When I think of love I think of Dad. When I think of unconditional love I'm am forever grateful to have been on his list. His youngest, John
I am so grateful to have had a father with such an enormous heart and unending generosity. He was warm and compassionate, and I will always remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye when he would remember a funny story or be ready to launch a practical joke. I am thankful for all the things he shared and taught me, but most of all, how he taught me to love.
So grateful to have had a father who loved me so much and was such a great teacher. He taught me to dance, he taught me to drive a clutch, he taught me math like no body's business, he taught me right from wrong, he taught me to take responsibility for my own actions, he taught me that he always knew what I was doing and he taught me what true love is. Who could as for more in a father?
Thinking of you and still miss you everyday...
As I'm sifting through emails this morning, I've run across some that made me think of you. You, Mom and now, Jimmy, are deeply missed.
