I was a student of hers at Peter H Burnette Jr high in the late 50s. She always supported me in my singing. In 1964, after moving to Los Angeles to pursue my singing career. I visited her with my mom at her home in San Jose to let her know I was going to appear on a "DANNY THOMAS SPECIAL" on tv in 1965. She was thrilled ! I thanked her for always being there for me . I'm so glad I did.
