I spoke with Katherine only a few times but I feel like I know her so well because she shared the the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ with me during Eucharistic adoration. Sometimes I would stay afterwards to help put things away, she was always very gracious. Once outside in the daylight, her eyes would shine more brilliant than a pure blue sky. I loved her smile and miss her dearly.

I only met Katherine a few times, but what I saw -- and felt -- was a burning intellect and a deep love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  My desire to spend time conversing with her was unfulfilled as I do not live in the area, and I will regret not being able to spend time with her.  She had a positive attitude and  great courage in the face of a dire prognosis. I will miss her.
