Our hearts are broken along with yours over the sudden passing of your son, Gene. No one knows the heartache and shock unless you've been in that situation. All we can do is pray God's comfort for you and George, that He wrap His arms around you and envelope you in His loving care as only He can.
I met Gene 15 years ago and asked him for a job. He hired me on the spot. I returned the favor 9 years ago by bringing him to Charlie. He was like a brother even though we didn't get along all the time. Loved working and playing music with him all those years and will miss him.
I had the honor to met gene working with him in downtown norfolk about 5 years ago.it was always easy to follow his lead because he had that gift of making things simple for him and everyone else around him....great person even better father he was a hard worker and a very smart person.outside work you would not only enjoy hanging out with him but talking to him about all source of things and he will always find a way to make his words helpful to any situation you were facing....i had the honor to play music with him...im clueless about instruments and making music...but he always enjoyed and encourage me despite my lack of knowledge.my brother gene....i want to say thank you for crossing my path and leaving and everlasting memory in my heart....you will never be forgotten my old friend.
Pam and George, I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both. If there's anything, anything at all you need please let me know. Love you.
I grew up with Gene .. I have great memories of the weekends spent at Aunt Pammy's house .. We grew a part as we got older .. I recently reconnected with Aunt Pammy and Uncle George and was looking forward to seeing Gene again .. Looks like I will have to wait a little longer ... I will see you again on the other side .. I wish you calm seas and clear skies as you journey into the next ..
