Sad to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great guy, always had a good time with him whenever we met. Knew him since high school, remember his bronze 1960 El Camino with his Demon car club plaque/jacket.
We met many times at Good Guys shows, always enjoyed Ed. Will miss him.

Ed Harter was a true Alaskan. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping with friends and family. Ed was an Alaska State Trooper for many years, helping Alaskans in their time of need. He was a wonderful family man who loved spending time with Linda, and his children Carrie and Michael. Rest in Peace, we will miss you!

My husband David and I thoroughly enjoy getting to spend time with Ed when he lived in Marana. He greeted us when we were considering buying a home next door where he was living at the time. We felt welcomed and it gave us great joy to commit to buying the home and move in. He was a gentleman, sportsman & a perfect person to have around. He always was so proud of his career & family
It was my pleasure to know Ed here in Marana. His kindness was exceptional. He became a constant companion with my husband, Steve, at the end of his life. They watched all the sporting events on TV. He was with Steve to the end. Ed was very kind & loving to our family and assisted me with Steve's final journey to spread his ashes. Ed will be sorely missed by many of his friends here.
