Ed and I were on the track team together at SLZ, just a wonderful all around person!! I had seen him a few times over the last 10-15 years and it was like we hadn't missed a beat. God bless , and to his family my condolences, another great one gone way too early!!

I have fond memories of the last two Christmas dinners at my home with Ed and Jackie as my guests. For many years, I remember seeing Ed pass by my home, to or from Jackie's house and he was always smiling and so friendly. He was such a wonderful person. Glad he and Jackie finally tied the knot. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

I only got to go on 2 backpacking trips with Ed but it was great to be with him on the trail and at camp.  His reputation as an experienced and inventive packer had preceded these trips and he lived up to it all!  We will certainly miss him.  I have posted a picture from the 2010 trip to Lew Beverly lake.
