The best of Herman and Leah combined to make the best Brother, Father, Grandfather and Uncle. I realize now just how much I looked up to my Uncle EJ - what a great personal loss for us all. Selfishly, seeing EJ and knowing he was still here gave me a more tangible connection to Barbara. With all three modest siblings now passed, an era has ended but those memories live on in each of us.
