I have had more time to think about what you have meant to my life.  I will always be in awe of your radical courage and the way you stared down  your addiction.  I was a recipient of your unconditional love and acceptance.  I am a better person for having been married to you.  You brought out the best in me and showed me the best in you, making me want to be a better person.  I love you!

You were always there to make sure I got everything I ever needed. If I was hungry you made me food. If I was bored you got me a new game. You always were to help me through everything in life. I love you, forever. Give Zoe a kiss for me.

I never got to met you but I felt like I knew you through your sister-in-law Brenda.  I wish that I had met you.   You have such a sweet and loving face.  I know that you were much loved by many, many people.  I know how much your husband Troy loved you as did the rest of your family. Please look down on Troy and take care of him until the 2 of you can be reunited.

Today Facebook sent me a notification that we had memories together on this day. It turned out to just be some silly thing you saw and tagged me in but it took my breath away to think that you will never tag me in a silly Facebook post again. I miss you Eddie. I miss you everyday. <3

Eddie your light shines through and through. You have left a mark on my heart that I will always be thankful for. If not for you,Troy, and Maria I wouldn't be a mom to a now 1 month old nor would I be with the man of my dreams.I will miss your random calls and you yelling at me for posting something and not telling you my boyfriend and Troy my husband first. Your light will not be forgotten

Eddie,
You always managed to make me smile. Our conversations always filled me with energy that I've rarely experienced with others. I looked forward to our talks in life. I hope to have them again in the afterlife one day.  In the meantime, just whisper in my ear now + then, and I'll send words via prayer to you. xo

Eddie my dear sweet friend. I will always remember how you looked out for me.l, despite going through even bigger struggles yourself. I wish we could have spoken again. I know you touched many and God had someone very special to give him a hand. Keep heaven bright and laughing. Miss you--anna

I miss you my friend...our long talks..supporting each during challenges in life...cheating off each others papers in college and the constant laughter...and most of all your sweet loving heart that you shared with everyone you met. Love you Eddie?

Candle lit  by Victoria Webb on February 17th, 2020

I loved Eddie's bear hugs. He had a way of embracing you that made you feel enveloped in love.  He had an enthusiasm for life that was so joyful and childlike, yet he had a tender heart that was vulnerable to deep pain. I will always admire his strength in dealing with the challenges of life and the way he made me feel loved. Thank you Eddie. Whenever I think of you I smile.

I regret I only knew Eddie for under two years. If only I had more time to learn from this generous soul... Eddie embraced life and shared his joy openly. I will miss his smile.  Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

I did not get the chance to know you. But it is so obvious the love you and Troy had. You were both so very lucky. I have had the honor of talking with Troy and just knowing he’s out there is a blessing!!
