Mr. Henderson was a friend to many. He was a kind, sweet, soft spoken, well mannered man. A gentleman in all respects.
He was the epitome of everything good, sound, honest, and God fearing. He will be missed by this friend.
My deepest sympathy to Lu and the family.

I first met Ed in May of 1991 and he and Lu took me under their wings to introduce me to politics in Chesterfield, VA.
Over the last 26 years Ed has become one of my biggest supporters and champion in Chester. He has taught me much about politics, parenting and friendship.

God gave me a wonderful friend in your dad and grandfather. He was a person whom I could trust with any confidence and his advice and guidance helped me in so many ways.
I will thank God every day for having given me this wonderful person to be such a dear friend.
I pray that God will give you all and I the strength to carry on without him.

He was my close friend as a child and lived next door, and we stayed in contact since forever. The word "gentleman" describes him perfectly. At neighborhood reunions in recent years he had never changed.
Friends of his will be poorer because he is gone and my deepest condolences to Lu and the girls.
