I worked with Ed at GTE in Waltham for 10 years back in the 80s and he was always a kind, caring and cheerful person. I'm sad to hear of his passing away and wish the best to his surviving family.
Ed was the best man at my wedding and god parent to my first born 40 years ago. He was my husband’s (who passed 20 years ago) closest friend at the time when my husband first started at GTE. I remember many times going out on his boat in Sandwich and particularly remember his infamous pepperoni bread. Never could make it quite the same. May he rest in peace and reunite with Donnie!
Eddy... Damn it!! just like you to go off and leave us like this... I sent you a message last month checking on you. I can still see you sneaking up behind me at the Sandwich BBC and grabbing me in a bear hug. Eddy... I will forever have a soft place for you in my heart for all the fun projects we worked on and the laughs we had at GTE and GDIT. You will be missed, big guy!!
Ed was a wonderful cousin who we used to spend time with since he lived across the park from us.we had great times with him and his brother. Loved having them live close .many fond memories.Wonerful family!
I am just now finding out about this. A shock to me. I remember when my brother Mark and I used to visit my grandmother's house. Uncle Eddie was always doing something, whether in be a backyard BBQ or at the club. He took us on a few adventures. RIP Unc Ed. You're up there with Mom, Dad ( Gerry), Mark, Gma and Gpa. Surely missed.
