Coach Garbett,
R.I.P Coach. He was a molder of young boys. He taught boys to become men. He Cared. Some folks called his teaching "old school", I feel it was and is "The Right School". I'm very proud to say Thank you Coach "I got It"

Coach Garbett had a big impact on my life. He was my track coach at Henrico High School (class of '73). Like any coach, he cared about wins and losses, but more importantly he cared about the young men and women who were fortunate enough to be on one of his teams. I didn't fully realize what he had done for me and others until after I graduated.  I will forever be grateful to him.
