Melissa, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother.  After reading her obituary, I know she was an amazing woman.  Lean on family and friends to find strength.  God bless you and the entire Jones family.

My deepest condolences to Martha's family. Martha was a neighbor when I lived in Macon. She and I used to walk our neighborhood and have wonderful talks. Martha was an amazing woman, I truly respected her. She loved her children and family deeply. She was a wonderful friend and will be missed tremendously.

Melissa & Tom - I was very sad to hear of your mother's passing. I remember her so fondly as both a fun-loving neighbor and as a tough but fair educator. I wish you find soon find peace, but know she will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dr. Jones was such a special lady, and the influence she had on my life will never be forgotten. She was a mentor, she was a friend, and she was such an inspiration. She touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with, and we are better people for having her in our lives.

Sympathy to Melissa and Tom and Judy and the rest of the family....my sister Mary and I grew up with Martha and Judy as our mothers taught together at Pearl Stephens Elementary School.  Then Martha and her children were our neighbors on Crestline Drive and our children were her students at Miller Middle School.  My sister Mary died 9/7/16.  Julia Goss Baldwin
