This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Dr. Joseph Rienzi. We will remember him forever.
It is hard to imagine that you are gone - too soon - no one could fill your shoes!
Onwards and upwards!
Forever a free spirit
In my heart always
Bertie
You blew open doors for this new OB nurse. Imagine! Animals in the hallways of your office! Wearing old jeans and boots to a birth! Sitting on the side of the patients bed while you delivered her baby! And you’d say “Nurse Dawn, you are wound so tight!” Well, you did teach me to unwind a bit, Dr. Joe. And mostly you taught me that birth, quite simply, was “a beautiful thing”. Godspeed.
Great dr. He delivered my oldest son. I will never forget him saying he would never want to be a woman because he couldn't handle what they can!
Dr Joe,
You delivered both of my children who are now 26 and 24. You were so amazing and truly an angel sent by God. You blessed so many lives. You will be greatly missed.

Rest In Peace
Dear Woody, We just heard, and our hearts are broken. We grew up together, and you went to LaSalle Military Academy with Doug and the gang. I hope they have Oreo cookies in Heaven and a glass of Milk so you can dunk, and they play "Rag Doll." Your wonderful parents and lovely home in Northport, LI, NY and your gardens and Dogs R.I.P. dear friend. Fond memories. Love Florence&Doug
29 years ago today, you brought my son into this world, complete with beer and pizza (for my team) during my 23 hours of labor. You made everything possible. You were an amazing doctor, a kind and generous neighbor and truly one of a kind. I am sure you are watching us all with amusement and love xoxo
