Doug was a great kid in every way; I say kid because I went through school with him, knew him well, and can say that everyone just loved him.  Once he was on FB, we reconnected again and still he was so engaged with everyone -- a terrific kid all grown up and into a spectacular man.  The tribute to Doug by his family in a photographic timeline of his life was the most telling of how he was loved and always will be, and I lingered over every photo as I'm sure all that knew him will do as well.  What an example of goodness in a life well lived!  To his family I send heartfelt sympathy and prayers, but know he is with you in spirit and love always.  Doug will never be forgotten by anyone that ever knew him. He was a true star.
