My thought and prayers go out to Tom and the entire family. I met Dorothy at our company Christmas Party-She wanted to know who was screaming her husband's name in the Hallways She was kind enough to talk with Tom...one of my favorite people...but had a chance to speak with Dorothy as well...and it was evident the love they had for each other. I what I wish for. May she RIP
Dorothy was my Mother one law. 17 years ago she welcomed me into the family with open arms. I have countless memories of lunch dates at Symeons, shopping trips, and a personal lesson on how to make scalloped potatoes! She saw me through the birth of all 3 of my children, as well as any other surgery or medical issue any of us had. Weather it was holding back hair, coming over to look at the kids bumps and bruises, or sitting and waiting at the hospital, Dorothy was always there. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren was unconditional.
I will forever remember her courage, bravery, and strength. She was truly one of a kind. Although I miss her in a way that is indiscribsble right now, I will forever be grateful for the 17 years of Christmases, birthday parties, movie watching, knitting nights, recipie sharing and eating , and knowing I got to love and be loved by an amazing women.
