Dorothy Anne (Miller) Howard, 88, of Solana Beach passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 11, 2022.  

She was born in Brawley, California on October 22, 1933, and graduated from Brawley High School.  She was a proud graduate of San Diego State University and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.  

Dorothy was married to the love of her life, Richard Howard for 61 years.  Their love, support and loyalty to each other was lifelong.  She was a kind, generous and loving person and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. 

Dorothy is survived by her husband Richard and her two daughters, Jennifer Kellogg (Bill) and Karen Luna.  She has four grandsons, Dominick Bailey, Ben Kellogg, Erik Kellogg, and Sam Kellogg, and two great grandsons, Mekai and Callum Bailey.

A celebration of life will be held in late June at the family residence and online.  Please contact the family for details.
