The hills of Vermont are alive with Dottie's gentle spirit!
Dottie was an exceptional lady whom I truly loved and admired. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, nurse, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and dear friend.

She was intelligent, bilingual, articulate, a sweet German lady, kind, caring, giving, loving, always placing family and friends first, an amazing "Queen of Quilting," a sewing artist of doll clothes, embroidery etc., second to none, and a culinary master of baking and cooking in her kitchen.

I have so many fond memories of our times together and our personal talks. She always listened and offered the best advice for any situation. She always found the goodness in everyone she came in contact with. Her true loves and passions were being with her husband, Mike, being with their children, and being with their grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.

Her life was a blessing,
Her memory a treasure,
She is still loved beyond words,
And missed beyond measure.
